PLUNKET SOCIETY

THE ANNUAL MEETING [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, Nov. 18. Tho annual meeting of the Plunket Society was held to-day. The work of the Society was praised by the Hon. AJ. Stallworthy, saying that he approved the further extension of activity. Appreciative references were made by several of the speakers to the work of Sir Truby King, who in replying, emphasised the importance of anti-natal care. Ho stressed the value of sex and motherhood instruction to young women saying that those who had Karitane experience were best qualified to give such teaching. He urged that young women on becoming engaged should remember the duty they owed to the State, of keeping in good health.
