THE FEILDING SALE Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on the Fcilding sale held on Friday: Owing to there being no sale for a fortnight there was a very good entry of both sheep and cattle- The. fat pens being particularly well filled, ovei 1600 of all classes of rat sheep beii yarded. The demand for fats showed :: decline on previous sales althougi every pen cuanged hands. The stoic sheep yarded were of only medium qua! ity but sold freely. Dalgety and Co. Ltd., at their Feilding sale on Friday last, had a very good entry of both fat and store sheep. The market for fats opened fairly well and younger sheep met good competition, but fat ewes dropped from 2s 6d to 3s from the commencement of the sale to the finish. There was only a limited enquiry for stores, although a fair clearance was effected. There was a good entry of dairy cattle, the fats pens were also well filled, and a

fairly keen demand resulted. Store cattle were also yarded in fair numbers, but bidding was dull and very few pens were disposed of.
