YOUNG WOMAN’S DEATH

BABY FOUND NEARBY [ Per Press Association. ] AUCKLAND, Nov. 9. A single woman, aged 25, was found dead on the floor in her room at au apartment house in Grafton Road. A few feet away lay a healthy female baby. The unfortunate young woman, a half-cast Maori, had evidently bled to death after giving birth to tho child. The police state there is no suggestion that any illegal act was the cause of the young woman’s death, which appeared to have resulted from natural causes.
