RAINBOWS OF LIGHT
NOVEL IDEAS IN THEATRE. The now Cambridge Theatre near Shaftesbury Avenue, in London/ has many novel ideas. The roof consists of bands of polished wood in varying tones of brown and deep rich bronze. From behind each of these polished bands ahoot strips of light, when all are in / operation the effect being like a series of pale rainbt ws arching the interior. Thick carpets in unusual design muffle the footsteps of latecomers, and every aitetr-tU stall has a small electric light, which can be switched on at will to fac.Flett- the reading of the programn cs.
