PIGEON FLYING
WANGANUI CUUB FLIGHT FROM WELLSFORD. The Wanganui Pigeon-Flying Club sent 27 birds, representing eleven owners, to Wellsford, an airline distance of 253 miles. The weather was cloudy with a strong westerly wind. E. Carveil scored first and both pools, with J. Dow second and J. Patterson third. The following are the names of the starters and velocities: —
