MOTOR-CYCLIST’S DEATH
THE CORONER’S FINDING [ Per Press Association. ] HAWERA. Oct. 31. At the inquest to-day on Clifford Nathan Young, aged 21. who was killed instantly on October 5 in a collision between the motor-cycle he was riding and another ridden by Lionel Frederick Palmer, aged 23, the Coroner found that the evidence was insufficient to show whether any blame was attachable to Palmer, but that it appeared to indicate that the deceased sudden- < Jy cut the corner without the necessary J warning, and the collision was unavoidable on Palmer’s part. The cycles were travelling in opposite directions on the same road and were approaching a junction where the deceased was turning to the right ns the smash occurred. Deceased was thrown against the footpath kerbing, breaking his neck. Palmer and a laiy riding on the pillion on his machine, escaped injury.
