Shenanikida showed a nice turn of speed and finished in front. Merry Cry, a brother to Hunting Cry, and Zippor did a working gallop over seven furlongs in 1.37. Lady Makere and the gelding by The Ace in P. Smith's stable accomplished a fair gallop for six furlongs in 1.23, Lady Makere shaping well.
