PIGEON FLYING
WANGANUI CLUB FLOCK RACE FROM TE KUITI. Last week the Wanganui Pigeon-Fly-ing Club sent 52 birds for a flock race from Te Kuiti (110 miles). The weather was cloudy with a south easterly wind against the birds. N. C. Barstow gained first place, with E. Carveil second and third, he also winning the pool. Craig 932.1 14 L. Rosemergy 844.4 15 Also started W. Dickey and E. J. Douglas. On Tuesday evening the club will hamper for a race from Ward.
