PIGEON FLYING

WANGANUI CLUB FLOCK RACE FROM TE KUITI. Last week the Wanganui Pigeon-Fly-ing Club sent 52 birds for a flock race from Te Kuiti (110 miles). The weather was cloudy with a south easterly wind against the birds. N. C. Barstow gained first place, with E. Carveil second and third, he also winning the pool.
