At Ypres, on behalf of a group anxious to boom tourist traffic, workmen have begun to open up famous “Hill 60,’’ the scene of some of the fiercest fighting in wartime, exposing subterranean galleries which are still full of equipment. But the project is resented by the relatives of British soldiers who were blown up and buried on the hill.
