MILK FOR CHILDREN
INTERESTING EXPERIMENT ’ [ Per Press Association. ] GISBORNE, Sept. 2. A pint of milk daily to be supplied to over 100 pupils of the Jerusalem native school will comprise the first experiment of the kind in New Zealand. The pupils will milk the cows on school days and will be weighed monthly by Dr. Turbutt, medical officer of health. The first weighing will take place next week to ascertain the nourishing benefits received.
