Ltd* have received the following cable from their London agents, dated August 15:— Frofceii meat quotations (prices on h “delivered” basis, i.e., including storage charges, cartage, market tolls, etc.): North Island 'own lambs, 28 to 3610, none offering; 36 to 421 b, none offering; best North Island crossbred lambs, 28 to 361 b, 9 per lb; 36 to 421 b, Bjd per lb; North Island second quality lambs, average 30 to 3ilb, 7£d per lb; best North Island .wether sheep under 481 b, 6d per lb; 48 to 561 b, 5d per lb; 56 to 641 b, 4jd per lb; 64 to 721 b, 4fd per lb; North Island ewes, under 481 b, 3|d per lb; 48 to 561b > 3Jd per lb; 56 to 641 b, 3|d per lb; 64 to 721 b, 3d per lb; New Zealand prime ox beef, 160 to 2201 b, 4|d per lb. As compared with last week’s quotations, North Island second quality lamb, |d per lb lower; others unchanged. Best North Island wether, 48 i.o 561bs, |d per lb higher; 56 to 721 b, £d pet lb higher; North Island ewes, 48 to 721bs, |d per lb higher; New Zealand prime ox beef, id per lb higher.
