THE FEILDING SALE. Dalgcly and Co. report: —At the Feilding saic ou Friday, there was a good yarding of fat sheep and a small entry of store sheep. Fat sheep sold well up to last week’s rates and the demand for store sheep was keen, hog|gets especially meeting with good competition at prices in advance of last week’s rates. Dairy cattle were again penned in large numbers and sold freely. Fat cattle were yarded in small numbers and sold well. Quotations. —Light fat ewes, 14s 4d, 14s 7d, 16s, 16s 8d to 18s; prime fat ewes, 20s 6d, 21s 3d, 22s 22s 4d, 22s 6d to 24s 6d; fat wethers, 23s 9d, 245, 255; fat lambs, 14s 3d, 15s, 15s 6d, 17s 17s 6d; 2-tooth ewes r.w. S.D. rams, 255; ALA. ewes r.w. Ltd., report on the Feilding sale as follows:—Fat hoggets, 19s Id, 20s, 20s 9d 26s 6d; fat wethers 245, 27s 6d, 28s. 3d; fat ewes, 18s 6d, 22s 6d, 24s 24s 8d; fat b.f. 2-tooth’s 21s 7d, 24s 7d; wether hoggets, 12s 6d, 15s; ewe hoggets, 15s Id, 15s sd, 24s 2d; 2-tooth wethers, 18s 3d, 20s 2d, 20s 6d; b.f. hoggets 14s lOd; springing heifers, £6 15s, £8 15s, £9, £9 10s, £lO ss; dairy cows, £6 10s, £i 10s, £lO, £l2; weaner heifers (good). £5; weaner heifers (others) £1 18s, £3. Messrs Abrah m and Williams, Ltd., report on Feilding sale: A very limited entry of both fat and store sheep came forward, and the demand throughout was keen at prices for all classes in advance of previous week. A full yarding of dairy stock met with an extra good sale and both fats and stores sold freely. A special entry of dairy cows and heifers on behalf of Mr J. T. Gibson, Kiwitea, came forward in good condition, and a pen ox 10 Jersey cross realised £ll 10s. The balance of the entry sold at market rates.
