Pressure is high over the northern Tasman. Forecast.—Winds: Moderate but freshening northerly backing to westerly and later to south-westerly. Seas (N.Z. waters): Becoming rough on the west coast and about Cook and Foveaux Straits elsewhere moderate. Tasman Sea: Moderate to strong west to southwest winds with rough seas in thw eastern Tasman Sea. Weather: Changeable and still somewhat un settled with scattered and intermittent rain but more especially in districts with a westerly aspect. Temperatures: Mild but becoming cooler to-morrow. *.
