GUILTY OF MANSLAUGHTER

BROCKWELL IMPRISONED MELBOURNE, Aug. 15. At the Supreme Court, Eric Brockwell, aged 24, was convicted of the manslaughter of Horace Walpole in April last and was sentenced to 15 years’ imprisonment. The Chief Justice, in passing sentence, said that the jury took a very lenient view of the crime.
