KAI IWI BEACH

THE protest voiced elsewhere in this issue against the grazing of cattle on the Kai Iwi Beach reserve deserves being heeded. The Kai Iwi beach is unique in that ears can proceed right up to tht? eoast and this is a prized attraction by family parties. The whole of the natural convenience and pleasantness of Kai Iwi is, however, marred by the opening of the reserve for grazing purposes. Now that the matter, has been brought to public notice due regard will be doubtless paid to this unpleasant matter well before the picnic season opens.
