NEW MOTOR SHIP

UNITED STATES TO DOMINION [ Per Press Association J AUCKLAND, June 24. A fast new motor ship, the Alirrabooka, has been put on tho United States New Zealand run by the General Steamship Corporation, a San Francisco firm, which hopes to inaugurate a regular trans-Paeifie service.

The Alirrabooka is announced to load early next month at Log Angeles and San Francisco, sailing finally from the latter port on July- 12 with passengers, as well as cargo. She is due at Auckland on July 29, making the run in 17 days, the same

time as the mail boats take from San Francisco to Wellington.- Her ports of discharge will be Auckland, Wellington and Bluff.
