GOSHAWK A WINNER . WAGGA TOWN PLATE VICTORY. Received May 8, 11.5 p.m. SYDNEY, May 8. At the second day’s races at Wagga the following was the result of the Town Plate.—Goshawk 9.0 (Bartle) 1. Lord Eudorous 9.2 2, Abbot’s Lad 7.12 3. Eight started. Goshawk won by a length and a-half, third horse half a length away. Time: 1.38—a course record.
