INTER-CLUB MATCH SEAFIELD v. CASTLECLIFF. The first inter-club match of the 1930 season between the Seafield and Castlecliff Clubs was played on Saturday on the Seafield links. The day was perfect for golf and the course was in good order. The match was closely contested, Seafield proving the winners by one game. Following are the results, Castlccliff players being mentioned first L. Cathr© won from J. Goss. J. Wilson lost to S. Irwin. N. Totty lost to C. O. Moulder. F. Dean lost to O. P. Brown. G. Currie halved with P. D. England. R. Grcenhill won from A. G. Mackay F. Wood lost to E. Goldsbury. R. McNiel won from W. R. Dale. G. Butler won from S. Pritchard. W. Tustin lost to R. D. Smart. T. Braid won from C. G. Young. T. Taswell lost to R. J. Peattie. W. Bassett-Smith lost to A. Elliot. V. Cooke won from L. Whelan. R. Dawson lost to A. Lamont. G. Orr won from B. H. Jones. A. Webb lost to A. D. Smith. C. Maitland won from A. Ramsay. Totals: Seafield, 9 wins and one half; Castlecliff, 8 wins and one half.
