FREEMASONRY

A NEW ZEALAND LODGE OPENED IN LONDON LONDON, April 25. The New Zealand Lodge of Freemasons had been consecreted. Its unique badge consists of an engraving of the beautiful extinct New Zealand female bird Huia, enclosed in laurel and fern leaves.

Mr Walter Philip Besley is the first Master, Lord Jellicoc the immediate Past Master. The officers included the athlete Dr. Arthur Porritt.
