MAY DAY DEMONSTRATIONS UNEMPLOYMENT EXPLOITED Received April 25, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, April 24. Communists are attempting to exploit unemployment to make the May Day demonstration at Hyde Park the greatest ever seen. There are thousands of marchers en route to London from various centres endeavouring to pick up recruits. Efforts are also being directed to stop all coal mines on May Day but Mr A. J. Cook, the union secretary, advises the miners not to heed the suggestion. He declares it is a crime to bring men and women to London without providing food and protection
