In the women’s golf tourney to-day the first round and semi-finals for the Canterbury championship were played. In the first round Miss O. Kay beat Miss Cracroft Wilson 4 and 3; Mrs A. Russell beat Miss D. Chrystall 6 and 5. Mrs Dodgshun beat Miss B. Gould 5 and 4; Miss White-Parsons beat Miss V. McClure one up.
