THE FATAL BLIZZARD.— Taken from Aimer Hut, looking down the Franz Josef Glacier towards the seacoast, during a lull in the blizzard which struck the Southern Alps on Sunday, 19th January, and, over on the Tasman Glacier, 12 miles away, was responsible for the loss of five lives.
