JACKO’S NARROW ESCAPE

When Jacko heard his mother calling him he tried to creep out of the house as if he hadn’t heard a word. On the stop he stumbled against the cat, which made her howl and incidentally brought mother Jacko out to see what the noise was all about. “Oh, there you are!” she cried. “Come in dear; 1 want you io run an errand for im>. ” And she then commenced to explain where he was to go.
