WENDY'S VOICE

(Written for the Hut pages by “Sapphire Queen” I am sitting in the sunshine, As the day is very fine, And, dear Wendy, I remember you In this verse or two. I am sure you wish you were he: To hear the lambs so dear, Bleating on the hillsides As a drcam through it glides. The grass beneath your feet, And around your dainty seat. So green and yet so cool I sit upon a stool. A frosh cool breeze came floating On it a voice is fleeting, Telling all to be content, As we hear this message sent. Upon the wind that passed us by, Floating ’ncath the azure sky; Now I’ll close this verse cr two. Happiness shall walk with you.
