A New Zealander’s Success
Rather a distinction has come to a New Zealander, Aliss Elsa Thomas, formerly of Christchurch, who has been appointed assistant-secretary of the Paris branch of the Overseas League. Aliss Thomas has been hard at work with this branch for some time, so her environment won’t be entirely strange to her. Alany New Zealanders seem to be “making good” in far lands, and it’s pleasant to hear of a girl from Alaoriland who is capable of holding down a job requiring both tact and energy.
