IN FAVOUR OF ARABS
PALESTINE COMMISSION FORECAST OF THE FINDINGS THE BALFOUR DECLARATION. [By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright] Received March 10, 8 p.m. LONDON, March 10. The Daily News states that it is understood that the Palestine commission, which is shortly making its report, will recommend that a wider interpretation be given to the Balfour declaration regarding the Jewish national home. The commission takes the view that the time is not ripe for the Zionists to assume control of Palestine. The findings probably, will be generally in favour of the Arabs and may raise the whole question of the future of the British mandate. Mr Snell, Labour member, has reported that he has made reservations, otherwise the recommendation is unanimous.
