AMNESTY GRANTED EXILES RETURN HOME MADRID, Feb. 7. The anniversary of the Queen Mother’s death was made the occasion of an amnesty, under which artillery officers were not only pardoned, but re-appointed to their old ranks and posts. Professors and students were rehabilitated, officials and civilians suffering the consequences of rebellion, sedition and political offences were reinstated and exiles were allowed to return to their homes. It has been decided to turn the Union Patriotica into a political party and to submit candidates at the elections.
