■ MAN’S SUSPICIOUS ACTIONS MOTHER GIVES THE ALARM [By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright] Received Feb. 9, 8 p.m. BERLIN, Feb. 8. A revived alarm prevails at Dusseldorf owing to the reported reappearance of the “ripper.” A woman in the neighbourhood of the area where the crimes were committed, was going shopping. She allowed her four girls to walk in the street ahead of her and when the motlter reached the street she saw one of Mie children arm-in-arm with a man walking in the direction of the waste ground which was the scene of the last of the murders. She called out and the man ran and succeeded in mounting a parsing tram.

The mother’s description tallies with the police description of the ‘‘ripper.”
