ST. JOHN’S CLUB SATURDAY’S RESULTS Beautiful bowling weather prevailed on Saturday and the St. John’s greens were very fast, some interesting games being provided. A round in the Nixon Cup contest was played with Wanganui West, the result being a win for the home team by the narrow margin of 8 points. Wanganui East were successful in their challenge fo* the Junior Bannerette, winning by two points. The final of the Labour Day tournament resulted in a win for Kirkwood’s team.
