MATCHES AT GONVILLE GREEN The Wanganui West Bowling Club played Senior Shield and Willis Shield matches on the Gonville green on Saturday but suffered defeat on the aggregate scores for both trophies. The following entries have been received for the Dominion bowling tournament next month: —Singles 168, pairs 168, rinks 88. Last year, when the tournament was held at Wellington, the entries were: Singles 264, pairs 224, rinks 130. WANGANUI CENTRE CHRISTMAS TOURNAMENT.
