THE NORWICH CITY

VESSEL A TOTAL LOSS SUVA, Dec. 5. The Norwich City is reported to be a total loss. Five whites and six Arabs were drowned when the vessel struck. There were twenty-one still on the island. Three who have been rescued are aboard the Trongate. Enormous seas are hampering rescue work. A rocket line was sent shore, also water and provisions. The captain, officers, and engineer of the wrecked vessel are safe.
