SPEED EXCEEDS FIFTY MILES BERLIN. Dec. 1. Max Valier undertook further trials of the rocket car, which is driven by recoil action by means of the explosion of compressed carbonic acid gas. The ear was towed by an ordinary car till a speed of 30 miles an hour was attained. Then it was uncoupled and Valier carried on. reaching a speed of s'l to 60 miles over a considerable dis kance of road.
