WORK OF PARLIAMENT [Per Press Association. ] WELLINGTON, Oct. 30. In the House of Representatives today Mr C. H. Clinkard reported that the Native Affairs Committee had recommended that the Native Trusts Amendment Bill should be allowed to proceed, subject to amendments. The report was laid on the table. The Shipping and Seamen’s Amendment Bill (the Hon. J. G. Cobbe) was introduced and read a first time. Three Bills were introduced by Gov-ernor-General’s message. The Local Legislation Bill was read a first time and referred to the Local Bills Committee. The Local Reserves ond Other Lands Disposal (washing-up^ 1 Bill was read a first time and referred to the Lands Committee. The Railways Authorisation Bill was read a first time and set down for the second reading on the next sitting day.
