SCHOOLMASTER’S DEATH
FOUND IN YARD. SHOT GUN AT SIDE [ Per Press Association ] AUCKLAND, Get. 2. Missed from his bed at about 6 o’clock this morning, Frederick Christopher Braithwaite, aged 49, schoolmaster at Tamaki, was found by his eldest son lying dead in the yard of his homo. Beside his body was a shot gun. There was a wound in the left breast. Tho deceased was clad in pyjamas. It is stated that during the last few days, Mr Braithwaite had been in ill-heath, but ho had no other worries. Mr Braithwaite was married and leaves a wife and five children. An inquest was opened and adjourned.
