LEVELLING SITE
BOARD SATISFIED WITH WORK The Technical College Board of Governors, in view of a recent criticism by Mr J. Patterson, a member of the Board, met the city engineer on Monday morning in connection with the levelling operations on the Purnell Street Hostel site, the Mayor, Mr W. J. Rogers, also being present. Mr IDeem explained carefully what had been done, and the Board express-
cd every satisfaction with the operations already carried out by the city engineer. In connection with any further levelling to be done on the site, the Minister, of Education has informed the Board that the whole of the levelling will bo included in the contract for the new buildings.
