BAND PLAYS “OLD COMRADES” [ Australian Press Assn. ] LONDON, Sept. 29. The Daily News correspondent at Weisbaden states that the German band played “Old Comrades” as the British flag was hauled down for the last time at Konigstein Barracks before the departure of the rearguard of the Leicestershires The town was soon bedecked in German Republican colours but there was no other sign of rejoicing. Some of the townspeople openly expressed their regret at the departure of the British troops.
