UNUSUAL COLLISION A sleepng child in a perambulator bad a remarkable escape from death in Botchergatc, England, lately. The perambulator had been left at the edge of the pavement by the child's mother when she went into a shop. Suddenly the perambulator was whirled into the middle of the road by tho draught of a motor-car sharply turning a corner. Another motorist, driving down the street made a violent swerve to avoid crashing into it, but his car caught its handle and dashed it to the other side of the road, where it overturned. People rushed to pick up the child, which was found to be not on*y unhurt, but still sleeping. The mother, brought from the shop and told of the accident, calmly remarked, “Oh, he’s still sleeping, ts he?” and returned to complete her shopping.
