NEW ZEALAND POTATOES
THE AUSTRALIAN BAN. SYDNEY, Aug. 22. (Australian Press Assn.) Sir Neville Ho«-se. in giving reasons for not lifting the embargo on New Zealand potatoes, said that experience had shown that there had always been a tendency to use New Zealand potatoes for seed purposes when available, and the system of certification of consignments failed to eliminate the danger of introducing tubers affected with corky scab.
