SLIPS ON THE RIMUTAKAS
THE ROAD BLOCKED. [ Per Press Association. ] CARTERTON, Aug. 21. The Public Works Department hai advised the Wairarapa AutomobiM i Association that a heavy slip on th | Featherston side of the Rimutakas i i completely blocking the road. Tht Public Works Department estimates that it will take two days to clear. Heavy rain is still falling and all thia rivers are very high.
