The name of T. Hurley which appeared on Tuesday morning at the foot of the advertisement oi the I.X.L. Ltd., was inserted therein l»y error, it should have been inserted at the foot of Mr T. Hurley’s own advertisement for the Hotel Imperial Bottle Store. These quilts have been on view all day Tuesday and will be on view again to-day (Wednesday) until time of sale. The auctioneer’s instructions are that every quilt is to be sold. The attention of our readers is drawn to the above sale, when the contents of the shop and saloon of the “Rugby,” opposite Spriggens’ Hotel, will be offered by B. T. Bennett at 2 p.m. today. DAIRY SALE AT MAXWELL. To-morrow (Thursday), Messrs Jackson and Co. will conduct a sale of Mr Jefferson’s dairy herd at Maxwell. Some 50 head of first-class cows will be offered in addition to implements, etc. Dairy farmers requiring early calvers are advised to attend.
