ANNUAL MEETING HELD r ELECTION OF OFFICERS There was a large attendance at A! Saints’ Hall, Wanganui East. lasi night for the annual meeting of members of the Wanganui East Bowling Club. In tho absence of the president and vice-president Mr J Caidwell was voted to the chair. The annual report anl balance sheet were read and adopted alter very little discussion. The election of officers resulted as follows: President. Mr J. Caldwell; vice-president, Mr L. Travers; committcct, Messrs J. Caldwell, F. Moorby, A. Wakelin, J. Gilbertson, A. A. Willis, A. W. Jones and T. Graham; match committee, Messrs A. Wakelin, E. Hutchins and J. Gilbertson; green committee Messrs E. Hutchins, F. Moorby. C. Scinold, A. W. Jones ami J. Gray; Centro delegates. Messrs A. W. Jones and A. A. Willis; honorary secretary, Mr T. Anderson; assistant secretary, Mr J. Gilbertson; hono.tiry auditor, Mr F. V. Connell. The club decided to take pari in itiia Centre games. r It was decided that all ful rink competitions be played on the same system as was use d last year. After discussion it was decided t< admit ladies as active members of th< club.
