To have a strange legacy left you on your honeymoon, is mysterious enough, but when you find it to be an old house in charge of a surly woman, you would be a little dubious of tne whole affair. However, the young couple in the Paramount release, “The Hour of Fear” decided to stay, and then many things happened, that made the new owners think the house haunted. To the house came a man, known only to one person, and he never left. Yet the next morning at three the district attorney was ringing the house enquiring far the man, what had happened? Why was wife so terrified when the clock had struck two? These and much more of the mystery are explained in this thrilling mystery at the New Grand Theatre today- Edith Roberts plays th© role of the wife, and Margaret Liv:ngston the house-keeper. Noah Beery is the Attorney and Ford Sterling is the friend of the family, who wishes before dinner is over that he had never com? to tne house. Supporting this picture is “Tropic Madness” featuring Leatrice Joy and Albert Valentino. The story is laid in the South Sea Islands and is packed with exciting adventure and magnificent tropical settings.
