INCREASED ENTRIES

BUTTER AND CHEESE SOUTH TARANAKI SHOW. Increased entries are recorded in all classes of butter and cheese exhibited at the South Taranaki Winter Show, held at Hawera. The quality is also of a high standard and consequently the officers of the Dairy Division of the Agricultural Department had a difficult, as well as a busy time, separating the exhibits. The following awards are of local interest: — Cheese. In the cheese awards the maximum points are: (A) Flavour 50, (B) body and texture 30, (C) colour and finish 20; total 100.
