BODY IN A TANK
COUSIN OF ENGLISH JUDGE MURDER OF GIBL SUSPECTED. [ Australian Press Assn. ] Received May 5, 8 p.m. LONDON, May 4. Sensational developments are expected in connection with the death of Miss Olive Branson, a cousin of an English High Court judge, vhose body was found in a water tank near the villa where she lived. The police first concluded that -it was a case of suicic’n, bu this the rcJativ.es refused to believe. A post-mortem revealed a bullet in the head, ..nd bloodstains were found in Miss Branson’s bedroom. It is argued that she could no', have shot herself and walked to tl . tank, 20 yards, in stockinged feet and nightdress, and that therefore, it is a cl c of murder.
