A novelty in telephone convenience is being introduced into the Majestic Theatre at Wellington, now’ approaching completion (says the Dominion), li concerns “Doctors’ Row,” a particular row of seats in the circle, where are situated plugs, to which a portable telephone may be attached. On a ring being received for a medical man known to be in the theatre the attendant will take the telephone along to the “row”’ and plug in, enabling the doctor concerned to answer the call without leaving his seat.
