UNIVERSITY TEAM NEW ZEALANDERS TO TOUR. VISIT TO AUSTRALIA. [Per Press Association. J WELLINGTON, Alay 3. The New Zealand University athletic team will visit Australia for the first time this month. The team will compete at two meetings in Sydney following the Australian University tourney at Brisbane on Alay 29. The personnel of the team, which will leave Wellington on Afay 24 and be away about three weeks, is as follows:—E. B. E Taylor (County College), long distance events; D. W. Bain and O. C. Harley (Canterbury College), middle distance events; H. A. Henderson (Canterbury College), putting the shot; F. S. Ramson (Victoria College), hurdles and long jump; E. K. Eastwood (Victoria College), sprints and quarter-mile; J. N. Goodson (Victoria College) sprint events; R. Leech and C. TI Jenkins (Victoria College) arc unable make trip and O. ATorgan (Auckland) was also approached and says he is unable to go, but he may reconsidere his decision. The first meeting at which the team will compete will probably be on June 1, against Sydney University and the second will either be New Zealand Universities v. combined Australian Universities or the combined Australian and New Zealand University teams v. the N.S.W. Amateur Athletic Association’s team.
