HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY

In connection with the autumn allow, which will be staged by the Wanganui Horticultural ISociety in the old ALu scum building un Friday next, several professional growers have signified tneir intention of staging special trade ‘*x hibits. These in themselves will provide a special attraction to patrons. In addition there will be a magnificent display of chrysanthemums, pot planls, fruit and vegetables and cut flowers. A final reminder is given that entries close with the lion, secretary, Air V. B. Willis, to-morrow (Wednesday) al 8 p.m. The show will be opened by the Hon. W, A. Veitch at 2.30 p.m., and it is certaian that a large attendance of the public will reward the very special ef j forts being made by the committee.
