LITTLE GIRL’S DEATH
ACCIDENTALLY STRUCK BY CAR [ Per Press Association. ] DUNEDIN, April 15. The inquest, was concluded this afternoon on Elizabeth Alajorie Denton, a little girl two and a-half years of lago who was knocked down and fatally injured by a motor car last week. Mr J. R. Bartholomew, S.M., sat as coroner. /After evidence had been taken, the coroner said tl?e affair was one of pure misadventure and no blame could be attached to the driver of the rar. King Street was a busy one and children of tender years should not be allowed to play about on it unattended. The verdict would be that death was due to cerebral haemorrhage caused by being accidentally knocked down by a car on April 11*.
