A TEACHER’S EXPERIENCE [ Per Press Association. ] AUCKLAND, April 5. A story of dire hardship and teaching on an empty stomach was related to the Auckland Education Board to-day by a young teacher recently transferred to an isolated settlement on. Coromandel Peninsula. He complained of lack of accommodation ami declared that living conditions generally were absolutely impossible, seeing that there was only one white family in the district.
