BAG SNATCHING CASE

YOUNG GIRL ROBBED A handbag containing £192 was snatched from under the arm of a girl in Adelaide, on December 24. The flew open, and all except £25 of the money fell to the roadway and was recovered. The thief was pursued by two young men, but he escaped. Miss Phyllis Ridley, aged 15, employ, ed by a business firm, had gone to the bank to collect the money to pay the wages of employees. There were many people about at the time of the robbery.
